We leave from SFO to Vancouver. It was a quick 1:45 minute flight. We rented a Chevy Impala to get around in the next four days. From the airport we went to a Super Store, kind of like a Wal-Mart super store, but Vancouver’s version, to pick up some groceries. We got a hotel room with a full kitchen, so we decided to save money and buy food to cook. After we shopped there we drove to our hotel, Century Plaza Hotel in downtown Vancouver. While on our way there, we went through what looked to be the upper class side of town with big houses and fancy cars. I was blown away by first seeing a Ferrari driving down the street, then I saw a Bentley, and I was driving behind a Lamborghini (pictured below).
After being blown away by all that, we made it to downtown. It really is like San Francisco like other people have said it was like. But it is a lot cleaner!
We checked in and stayed in for the rest of the day. It was about 5-6pm when we arrived to our hotel. So we decided to make some dinner and watch TV and get settled in. The sun sets at about 10pm here during this time of year and rises around 5am.
This is a view outside our hotel room.
